2. MERIT makes no representation or warranties with regard to this website, or its contents, which are provided for use "as is" and are without warranty of any kind.

3. While MERIT has made reasonable efforts to determine the accuracy of the information provided in this website, it has had to rely on a variety of sources for this information and therefore, cannot attest to the veracity of the information.

4. If customer or user comments or opinions appear on this website, MERIT does not assume, or have any responsibility or liability for these comments or opinions.

Privacy Statement MERIT is the sole owner of information collected on this website, except for e-mail addresses and telephone numbers provided to MERIT by individual owners or residents for use in connection with this website, which are deemed to be the property of MERIT 's security provider for log in to the website. MERIT may collect information from users of this website at several different points on the site, and through such other sources as may be relevant. MERIT may use personal information obtained to contact the users of this website and the owners or residents within a particular community. MERIT does not sell or provide this information to any third parties, except as may be required under governing law. Although MERIT will make reasonable efforts to protect the privacy of the information provided to us, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein MERIT has a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with MERIT 's responsibilities in connection with a pending judicial proceeding, a court order, legal process, or to comply with applicable law.

A Cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. (Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on MERIT 's site). MERIT uses session ID cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user's hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions. The Privacy Statement covers the use of cookies by MERIT only and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers or site sponsors. Like most standard website servers MERIT uses log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc., are not linked to personally identifiable information.

MERIT communicates with users on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regard to issues relating to their account and MERIT replies via email, phone or facsimile, in accordance with the users wishes.

This website takes every precaution to protect our user's information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, their information is protected both online and off-line.

We obtain our SSL certificates through GeoTrust (a Verisign Company), Godaddy.com, and Network Solutions so as to guarantee the encryption strength and validity. Specific certifier details can be inspected in your browser during a secure session (see browser-specific help for details).

Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal Information If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users' personally identifiable information. This can usually be done by emailing our Customer Support at merit@meritpm.com .

Notification of Changes
If MERIT decides to change its privacy policy, MERIT will post those changes to this privacy statement on the homepage and other places it deems appropriate, so the users are always aware of what information has been collected, how it used it, and under what circumstances, if any, it is disclosed. If, however, MERIT is going to use users' personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, MERIT will notify users by conspicuously posting a notice on this website for 30 days.
